Two Big Bowl Mud Dewatering Centrifuge Unit to South America
GN Separation, as a professional manufacturer of separation equipment, recently announced the successful completion of a big bowl mud dewatering centrifuge, following a successful factory trial run. Later soon, it will be shipped to a customer in South America.
Mud dewatering centrifuge is a main product of GN supply scope. The key features of this machine include the use of duplex stainless steel 2205 for the bowl and screw core shaft. This material offers superior machinability and corrosion resistance, crucial for longevity in rugged field conditions. The bowl, which is cast through centrifugal casting, offers superior material density and dynamic balance.
The screw blades are reinforced with welded tungsten carbide plates, providing added wear resistance in grinding applications. The mud distribution port and slag discharge port are also protected with tungsten carbide bushings, ensuring longevity under extreme conditions.
Control and optimization are further ensured through the inclusion of a VFD control cabinet. This allows for precise control of the main motor, auxiliary motor, and pulp pump motor, adjusting the centrifuge's operating speed and feeding pump flow to meet different working conditions. For easy installation and transportation, GN also provides a bracket that can be lowered for transportation and raised for convenient discharge of liquid phase materials into collection tanks.
To ensure optimal separation efficiency, GN Separation has also equipped the mud dewatering centrifuge with a 6000L automatic flocculation dosing unit. This unit can automatically adjust dosing rates based on mud characteristics and process requirements, further enhancing the overall performance of the centrifuge.
