High G Force Disc Separator Shipped to Client from Middle East
GN Separation is known as a solution provider of industrial solid and liquid separation. According to different solids size and concentration of the sludge, different solution might be provided. Sometimes client need single equipment, while sometimes they might need an integrated solution with multi-stage separation procedures. Recently, GN just arranged the shipment of one batch high G force disc separator to client from Middle East for the used coolant clarifying in fabrication of aluminum beverage cans.
During the fabrication of cans, the used coolant is produced as a mixture of light liquid, heavy liquid and solid impurities. The purpose of using the 3 phase disc separator to separate the light liquid, heavy liquid and solids to make the coolant reusable no matter the coolant is light or heavy.
The 3 phase decanter centrifuge is also used for oil, water and solids separation. The limitation of the decanter centrifuge is the low efficiency of separation of oil and water due to a lower centrifugal G force. From the G-force formula, it is known that to get a higher centrifugal G force, the machine need to run at a higher speed.
All centrifugal separators separate different phases with the density difference, especially for the separation of two different liquids immiscible with slight density difference. This will asks for high speed to create higher centrifugal G force. GNDHC603 high speed disc separate can run at 11000rpm to get the G force of 14000 that is much higher than normal disc separator. With the VFD control panel with PLC and touch screen, the operator can adjust the running condition easily and monitor the running status.
