This week, GN completed the fabrication and factory testing of two GNSP40B solid vacuum pumps, and it is expected that the pumps will be delivered next week. The vacuum pump ordered by the customer is used for coagulant sludge transportation in the power plant, which mainly solves the problems of low manual cleaning efficiency and difficult work in the sludge pit.

Solid vacuum pump is fully pneumatic conveying equipment designed and produced by GN, which can convey liquid, mud, powdery or granular loose solids. Its inlet and outlet can extend the suction and discharge distance by connecting external hoses. For some projects that need to extract materials from low-lying places or transport materials to high places, the vacuum pump can be a good solution.

GN solid vacuum pump features as below

1. It is completely pneumatic and can be used in flammable and explosive environment without power on.
2. The equipment is compact and easy to move on site; the two smaller models GNSP20B and GNSP10B are equipped with wheels, and the operator can even push for short distance movement.
3. The equipment storage bin has no internal parts and is easy to maintain.
4. It can be applied to material transportation in various forms and has a wide range of applications.

According to the material conditions of the user in the actual work, GN can provide carbon steel and stainless steel for the parts where the pump body contacts the material. The project requiring wear resistance shall be made of carbon steel, and the project of corrosive materials shall use pump made of stainless steel. The mining tailing sludge conveying in ore washing is a typical application of this pump.

For projects with high suction height, GN suggests that the pump body be placed as low as possible, such as deep sludge tank cleaning; For the cleaning of the vessel cabin bottom sludge, considering the size of the entrance, GN can provide customized size and structure to meet the entry requirements of the cabin entrance.
