Recently, GN shipped two sets of screw presses that would be used overseas for Municipal Sludge Dewatering. The model shipped out is GNDL301 which is a most popular model with medium size and capacity. Below some of the features of GN screw press.

GN screw press is a kind of fully automatic running machine with PLC in the control panel. It collects the sludge and flocculants to the premixing cabin. After the flocculation, the flocs will overflow into the dewatering assembly, after concentration stage and dewatering stage, the squeezed dry sludge cake will discharged out from the outlet.

GN screw press is running with low speed and low noise, and it is equipped with small horse power electric motor, thus the power consumption is relative low, which will significantly save the operating cost. For better dewatering performance, the screw press is always equipped with chemical dosing unit that is used for preparing the flocculants.

Before providing the proposal, GN will collect the required information from customer.
1. What is the original source of the sludge?
2. What is the required treating capacity?
3. How is the dry solid content in feeding sludge?
4. Any request on the machine construction material?
5. Will the machine be installed indoor or outdoor?

GN screw press is equipped with VFD control panel that can adjust the screw running speed as of 2~4RPM, which is the reason of low noise. In order to make the pipeline connection easy, GN make the machine inlet and outlet flange type, and all the ports will mark with label to help user to do pipeline connection. Two flushing lines are designed for both flushing of the inside screen and out surface of the machine.
