A client from North America gave feedback to GN on the performance of the hydrovac slurry dewatering system recently. They spoke highly of the equipment performance of GN and hoped to have more and in-depth cooperation in the future. The slurry dewatering system is consist of several separation modules and related auxiliary equipment, below is a brief introduction of the system.

1. Slurry dewatering vibrating screen --- The high G force vibrating screen is installed on the mud tank for coarse solids separation. The slurry is feed to the vibrating screen buffer box firstly and then drop onto the mesh screens, the solids is separated and water is recovered. For better performance, GN’s vibrating screen is fixed with composite frame screen panel and oil resistance rubber sealing parts to extend the service life of the machine.

2. Hydro cyclone unit --- The hydro cyclone unit could remove the solids with size of down to about 20 microns in the slurry. The under installed vibrating screen is same model with the high G force dewatering screen for drying the mud discharged from the cyclone units.
3. Sludge dewatering decanter centrifuge --- the decanter centrifuge is installed on telescopic skid for separated water flows to the under located collection tank easily by gravity. It is used to polish the slurry treated by cyclone unit. The fine solids will be removed by this high speed decanter centrifuge. With the assistance of polymer dosing unit, the decanter unit can even remove the fine solids smaller than 2 microns.

In this hydrovac slurry dewatering system, all equipment is provided modularly for easy transportation and jobsite installation.
