The vibrating screen is one of GN main equipment that can be used in various separation and dewatering projects. Being separation solution provider, GN Separation is committed to providing equipment or module system for solid liquid separation.

In some sludge dewatering project, the sludge may contains coarse solids that is not able to be handled by dewatering decanter centrifuge or other dewatering machine. Under this condition, the vibrating screen can be used as an in front installed screen equipment to remove the large content coarse solids.

In the oily sludge treatment system, the dewatering vibrating screen module is always located before the centrifuge unit. When removing the coarse solids, oily sludge will flow through the weir mesh, to prevent the blocking of the screen, the vibrating screen is equipped with spraying pipeline manifold for flushing the screen surface. The liquid going through the screen opening will drop into the under located collection tank, from where the centrifugal sand pump sucks the water and feeds to the spraying pipeline for flushing function.

By using the vibrating screen, the solids content in sludge can be greatly reduced; in the meanwhile, large size particles can be removed. After the separation treatment by the vibrating screen the sludge can be easily pumped to subsequent dewatering decanter centrifuge or screw press unit for fine solid content and low concentration sludge dewatering.

GN dewatering vibrating screen is widely used in drilling mud recycling, mining tailing dewatering, hydrovac slurry dewatering and even the animal waste drying management projects. As per the sludge condition, GN will install different type mesh screen made of different material with relative screen openings.
