GN Decanter Centrifuge for Oil Sludge Treatment to Environmental Solution Company

Recently, GN finished the fabrication of one set oil sludge treatment equipment package with capacity of 15 cubic meters per hour for a domestic environmental solution company.

Oil sludge comes from various sources, and the main composition is oil, water and solids. The large amount of accumulated oil sludge will bring great harm to the environment. GN oil sludge treatment solution is especially for separation of oil, water and solids to reduce the discharged waste. Therefore, it is a waste reduction solution rather than a final solution. It creates economic benefit by recovering the valuable oil and reducing the cost in further procedure of final harmless treatment.

The decanter centrifuge is widely used solid-liquid separation equipment. Before feeding to the decanter centrifuge, the oil sludge will be heated with demulsifying chemicals. The purpose of using decanter centrifuge is to separate solid and liquid of the oil sludge. The large amount of big size solids will be removed by the decanter centrifuge so that the discharge liquid can be fed to the subsequent oil and water separator. The decanter centrifuge is this order is the model of GNLW554ET-VFD.

The liquid discharged from decanter centrifuge is a mixture of oil and water and very less amount of fine solids. The liquid will be fed to the higher rotating speed of disc stack separator. With much higher centrifugal G force, the non-emulsified oil and water can be separated to realize the recovery of oil. The discharged oil will be collected to create more economic benefit, the separated water can be sent back for the original oil sludge for hot washing. In the meanwhile, the solids will be discharged at predetermined intervals. The disc separator used in this system is GNSD125.
For feeding to the decanter and disc separator, the screw pump is used as the stable flow rate. Mounted on the tank skid, the screw pump can be controlled and monitored from the control panel of the centrifuge.
