Recently, GN will complete the assembly and factory test running of one set decanter centrifuge with bowl diameter of 26-inche, and will soon send it to overseas customer site.
26 inch bowl decanter centrifuge is the second largest model in GN decanter centrifuge product series. The equipment in this order will be used in the chemical industry to realize solid-liquid separation of precipitated reactants in the production process of the chemical products of the customer.

GN decanter centrifuge could be widely used in a variety of solid-liquid separation projects. Typical applications include sludge dewatering in environmental water treatment, recycling treatment of various drilling mud, and solid-liquid separation in the chemical industry. Especially in the application of the chemical industry, in order to ensure that the materials to be treated are not polluted and improve the working efficiency of the screw propeller, the surface of the screw is usually polished. For the separation of precipitates with low solid content, the effective solid-liquid separation can be realized by selecting the appropriate differential speed to avoid the disturbance of the solid-phase separation by too fast pushing speed.

The decanter centrifuge in this order uses dual-motor drive mode, the main motor drives the bowl, and the auxiliary motor drives the screw propeller. Under the action of the gear box, the bowl and the screw rotate at different speeds in the same direction. After the suspension flowing into the bowl of the centrifuge is separated, the solid phase accumulated on the inner wall of the bowl is pushed to the slag discharge port by the screw pusher and discharged. The stainless steel control cabinet provided by GN for the decanter centrifuge is equipped with the frequency converter of the main motor and the auxiliary motor. The operator can adjust the rotation speed and differential rotation speed of the bowl through the touch screen of the control cabinet, and select the most appropriate working rotation speed by observing the discharge conditions at different speeds.
