A Batch of GN High Shear Circular Vibrating Screen for Overseas Silica Sand Classification
GN Separation is pleased to announce the completion of a new batch of High Shear Circular Screens. These type screening machine is designed for the rigorous demands of silicon sand grading, are now in their final stages of assembly and factory testing. Upon successful completion, they will be shipped to an overseas client site, ready to enhance the efficiency and quality of their silicon sand processing operations.
The High Shear Circular Screens developed by GN Separation is a unique design that utilizes a single vibration motor as the excitation source, combined with a Rosta damping device. This setup enables the screen box to vibrate in an approximately circular trajectory, offering superior screening efficiency compared to traditional linear or elliptical vibratory screens. The circular motion ensures that particles are subjected to more shear forces, promoting better separation and reducing blinding, a common challenge in silicon sand grading.
One of the standout features of GN high shear circular is their robust construction and durable materials. Both the interior and exterior of the screen deck have been coated with a polyurea spray-on lining. This advanced coating process provides exceptional wear resistance and corrosion protection, crucial for handling abrasive and corrosive silicon sand. The polyurea coating not only safeguards the material contact parts but also extends the overall lifespan of the equipment, reducing maintenance costs and downtime.
Another key feature in the design of these screens is the use of tensioned bolts to install polyurethane flexible screen mesh. This method allows for quick and easy on-site screen replacement, significantly enhancing operational efficiency. The polyurethane screens are known for their high open area, which maximizes throughput while maintaining precise particle separation. The ease of screen change-outs means that maintenance teams can swiftly address wear and tear, minimizing disruptions to the production process.
The high shear circular screens are engineered to meet the specific requirements of silicon sand classification, where precise size control and high throughput are paramount. Silicon sand, used extensively in the production of glass, ceramics, and foundry molds, demands rigorous screening to remove impurities and achieve consistent particle size distribution. GN Separation's screens are tailored to meet these demands, ensuring that clients can produce high-quality silicon sand consistently and efficiently.
With the final assembly and factory testing soon to be completed, GN stands ready to dispatch these vibrating screens to their overseas destination. For more information on GN mining vibrating screen, feel free to contact GN Separation.
