This week, GN completed the assembly and factory trial operation of two sets of 4000L polymer dosing units, and will arrange delivery soon.

 

Polymer dosing unit is common chemical agent preparation equipment, which is widely used in environmental protection sewage treatment industry. Its main function is to transport the prepared agent to the dewatering equipment as auxiliary equipment to help the dewatering equipment achieve better dewatering effect. For example, when decanter centrifuge is used as the main dewatering equipment for municipal sludge, it is impossible to separate suspended particles less than 2 microns only by relying on the mechanical separation function of decanter. If the flocculants is added to the suspension, the dispersed fine particles can be gathered to form flocs, and then connected to the decanter centrifuge for separation, which can achieve better separation effect.

The two sets 4000L polymer dosing units to be delivered this time are three-tank automatic dosing unit independently designed by GN. Its main components include preparation mixing tank, powder chemical dosing device, mixer, metering pump and corresponding pipeline manifold.

The powder dosing device is a funnel equipped with dosing screw, which can automatically add powder chemicals according to the predetermined proportion. The funnel is also equipped with an oscillator to prevent the hardening of polymer powder.

The preparation mixing tank is divided into three bins, namely mixing, curing and storage. There is an overflow port at the upper end of the partition between the bins, which makes the residence time of the polymer in each bin is longer. The connecting rod liquid level gauge inside the storage bin can feed back the signal to the control cabinet to realize the automatic start and stop of water inlet and dosing.

According to the actual needs of users, GN polymer dosing unit can be equipped with one or two dosing pumps to deliver the configured chemical to the dewatering equipment. The flow of the doing pump is adjustable, which is convenient for users to adjust the dosage according to the actual working conditions on site.
