The customer selects GN separation equipment for the oily sludge treatment. The main separation equipment is as follows:

1. GN 2 Phase Decanter Centrifuge

In oily sludge treatment system, GN usually uses decanter centrifuge driven by double motors to separate most of the solid phase in oily sludge. According to customer requirements and material conditions, 2-phase decanter centrifuge or 3-phase decanter centrifuge can be selected at this process stage. In this order, the 2-phase decanter centrifuge is selected to separate most of the coarse particles in the oil sludge to obtain the solid cake and oil-water mixture. GN 2-phase decanter centrifuge is controlled by VFD control panel. The operator can adjust the bowl speed, differential speed and pump feeding rate through the touch screen on the control panel to realize the stable operation of the decanter centrifuge.

2. GN 3 Phase Disc Stack Separator

The liquid phase discharged from the decanter centrifuge needs further liquid-liquid-solid 3-phase separation to obtain relatively pure oil, water and a small amount of solid phase. GN oil sludge treatment system adopts three-phase disc stack separator to realize efficient separation of oil and water. GN disc stack separator adopts top feeding mode, and materials can be fed by gravity from top to bottom, or by feeding pump. The disc stack separator has a higher speed than the decanter centrifuge and can obtain a larger separation factor, so it can better separate oil and water. It should be noted that during the operation of the disc separator, it is necessary to continuously inject operating water for sealing, slag removal and other operations. The customer site needs to be equipped with a source of soft water.

According to the working performance and features of decanter centrifuge and disc stack separator, GN makes a reasonable layout of the equipment and can provide an integrated or modular system to meet the requirements of customers' on-site layout and transportation.
